TDP State President and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao has taken up the issue of resolving the problems faced by registered valuers in Andhra Pradesh.
Representatives of registered valuers from Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati regions met Palla Sri Nivasa Rao at the party office in Gajuwaka on Friday and explained their problems.
They brought to his attention that they have to go to Hyderabad for the empanelment, verification and approval process under 34AB, which increases time, travel expenses and financial burden.
The representatives explained to Palla that registered valuers across the state provide key services like valuation of assets related to lands, buildings, plant and machinery, securities and financial assets.
In the context of about 800 registered valuers serving in the state, Palla Srinivasa Rao assured that he will bring their problems to the attention of the Chief Minister and ensure that appropriate action is taken at the government level.
He said that he will discuss with the relevant authorities the issue of conducting the empanelment, verification and approval process somewhere in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada or Tirupati instead of restricting it to Hyderabad and working towards a possible solution as per the rules.
Palla Srinivasa Rao assured that he will bring this issue to the attention of the government and ensure that necessary steps are taken to reduce the time, travel burden and expense of the values.
