Ex-MP of Rajamahendravaram, YCP National Spokesperson, City Constituency In-charge Margani Bharat Ram’s residence was tense on Monday. YSRCP ranks went on a massive agitation after the police deployed since morning placed him under house arrest.
On the call of YSRCP Congress Party state president and former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Margani Bharat Ram led a massive rally to protest the coalition government for not implementing the promises of a CBI inquiry into the scam in DSC, fee reimbursement, and unemployment allowance of Rs 3,000.
The police House arrested Margani Bharat for not going to the rally. After learning about this, YSRCP leaders reached Margani Bharat Ram’s residence in large numbers.
Protesting the police’s behavior, Bharat held a dharna there. He said that the coalition government was also violating the right to protest in public, and that the police were already harassing YSRCP leaders and activists by filing illegal cases. He said that the coalition government was ruling autocratically by obstructing the police, and that these policies would not go forward forever.
He made it clear that the YSRCP would not back down under any circumstances on the DSC scam and that the movements would continue until the CBI conducted an investigation and ascertained the truth.
