Governor administers oath to Shri Justice Mallikarjuna Rao as Andhra Pradesh Lokayukta

In a function held at the Durbar Hall of Lok Bhavan here on Tuesday, in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh Governor Shri S. Abdul Nazeer administered the oath to former Andhra Pradesh High Court judge Shri Justice Tallapragada Mallikarjuna Rao, who was appointed as the Andhra Pradesh State Lokayukta.
Earlier, Principal Secretary, Public Sector Development (GAD) Department Shri J. Shyamala Rao inaugurated the programme, after which the Registrar of Lokayukta Institution, former Andhra Pradesh High Court judge Shri Justice Tallapragada Mallikarjuna Rao, read out the appointment letter issued by the Governor appointing the former Andhra Pradesh High Court judge Shri Justice Tallapragada Mallikarjuna Rao as the Andhra Pradesh State Lokayukta.
Later, Governor Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu felicitated Andhra Pradesh Lokayukta Justice (Retd) Tallapragada Mallikarjuna Rao and presented him with bouquets.
The event was attended by Minister for Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Vasamsetty Subhash, Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta, Judges of Andhra Pradesh High Court, Special Chief Secretary to Governor G. Ananth Ramu, Advocate General Dammalapati Srinivas, Chief Secretary of AP Legislative Assembly Secretariat Prasanna Kumar Suryadevara, judicial officers, senior government officials and other dignitaries.
