Since taking Charge the coalition government has been working to provide transparent, accountable and responsible governance in coordination with its allies TDP, Janasena and BJP, AP TDP Chief Palla Srinivasa Rao said.

Under this new system, clear responsibilities have been given to Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3 officers based on the built-up area. In this, accountability at various stages will be ensured by appointing a Level-3 officer as a ‘verifying officer’.

He said that the TDP Janasena, BJP NDA coalition government, led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, is implementing institutional reforms and giving priority to development and transparent governance.

The steps taken by the coalition government led by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to ease the difficulties faced by the common man and middle class families in realising their dream of owning a home by bringing more transparency in the building permit and inspection process are commendable.

He said that the introduction of a new three-tier system for building inspections and issuance of occupancy certificates (OC) will help curb corruption and eliminate unnecessary delays.

Palla Srinivasa Rao clarified that the government’s decision will serve as a stern warning to officials who harass builders and demand bribes, and that ensuring citizen-friendly, transparent and accountable governance is the main objective of the coalition government.

Srinivas thanked Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their support in implementing the reforms. He added.
