CBI searched DRM’s house at 11 places, Indian and foreign currency of 87.60 lakhs in cash, gold ornaments valued at 72 lakhs and important documents were seized by CBI.

Andhra Pradesh Visakha Zone Railway DRM Saurabh Prasad was caught by the CBI officials while taking a huge bribe.
The Visakha Division DRM was arrested by the CBI officials while accepting a bribe of 25 lakhs. Along with him, two other contractors Sunil Rathore and Anand Bhagat were also arrested in this incident.
DRM’s house and office in Visakhapatnam, Mumbai, Vadodara, etc. were searched by CBI at 11 places. 87.60 lakh cash in Indian and foreign currency, 72 lakh gold ornaments and important documents were seized from Saurabh’s house.
In the East Coast Railway, Mumbai-based DN Company and Pune-based HRK Solutions private companies have been awarded the works as railway contractors. DRM Prasad demanded a bribe for delay in works, clearance of bills worth 3.17 crores.
In order to reduce the penalty for clearance of bills, DRM said that the company would pay him Rs.25 lakhs, They made a deal with the contractors to give 25 lakhs as bribes. In this order, while paying a bribe a contractor in Mumbai ,CBI officials caught him red-handed.
