Police commissionerates to come up in Rajahmundry and 3 other places in Andhra Pradesh soon, says report

The government is considering setting up a special commissionerate to further strengthen law and order in Andhra Pradesh. These commissionerates will come under some important corporations in the state.
The police department has sent proposals to the government for setting up police commissionerates in Rajahmundry, Guntur, Tirupati and Kurnool cities, among others.
If these are approved, there will be 6 commissionerates including Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. Officials believe that this will improve coordination between cyber crime control, CCTV camera network, traffic law and order departments and provide better security to the people.
