Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh said that the public government is focusing more on the education and medical sectors, the address of the center of excellence is AIG Hospitals, and AIG is working to provide quality medical care to the poor. Speaking at a meeting held after the foundation stone laying ceremony of AIG Hospitals at Endada, Anandapuram mandal, Visakhapatnam, the minister said

During Corona. Doctors worked by risking their lives. However, no doctor stepped back. Lokesh said that Nageshwar Reddy saved people’s lives and worked with commitment. He worked with determination to bring recognition to gastroenterology, which no one knew about. Nageshwar Reddy is a great doctor who has achieved No. 1 position in the world in gastroenterology today.

AIG is not another corporate hospital. Nageshwar Reddy is a person who thinks about how to provide world-class medicine to the poor.

The government will provide all kinds of support to AIG Hospitals. Visakhapatnam is the city of the future. We will develop Visakhapatnam into a trillion dollar economic region. AIG has a history of 32 years. 1400 beds, 350 ICU beds, 600 doctors, and 10 lakh patients have been treated.

A complete healthcare ecosystem is being built in Visakhapatnam with an investment of Rs. 2,000 crores and a capacity of 1,000 beds, with care, training and research. An outpatient block is being set up with a capacity of 5,000 per day. 50 specialties are being established. 9,000 people will be provided jobs. A thousand doctors will provide services, the minister said on this occasion.

Dr. Nageshwar Reddy gives more priority to research. There is a need to give more priority to education and medicine in the state, said Legislative Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu.
