Andhra Pradesh State IT, Electronics and Education Minister Nara Lokesh has reacted strongly to the boat accident in Vietnam. The minister, who took the accident very seriously, immediately took action on the preliminary information that tourists from Andhra Pradesh were involved in.
Minister Lokesh urgently spoke to senior officials of AP Bhavan in Delhi and high-ranking officials of the state government in this regard. He asked the officials for complete details of the incident and the latest situation. The officials explained to the minister that tourists from Andhra Pradesh who had gone to Vietnam for a fun excursion (tourism) were involved in this accident.
The minister was informed that AP Bhavan officials are in constant touch with the Indian Embassy in Vietnam regarding this accident.

Minister Nara Lokesh has instructed the officials to fully coordinate with the Union Ministry of External Affairs and the relevant central government departments to ensure that all kinds of emergency assistance is provided to the Telugu tourists stranded in danger.
