TDP chief Palla Srinivasa Rao thanked the voters for the grand victory of the alliance in the state local body elections and dedicated this victory to the tireless efforts of the workers of TDP, Janasena and BJP parties.
He said that these grand results are a clear testament to the faith of the people in Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Minister Nara Lokesh and the state BJP leadership. He also clarified that the continuous support from the central government among the alliance partners played a key role in getting such an overwhelming response.
The NDA alliance has registered a grand victory in the ongoing 92 municipal body elections in Andhra Pradesh with a huge strike rate of 93 to 95 percent.
The historic verdict is due to the unwavering faith of the people in the coalition government’s commitment to welfare, development, social justice and good governance, Srinivasa Rao said.
Taking a strong stand against the opposition, Srinivas Rao criticized the YSRCP’s deliberate attempts to distort the democratic process by filing more than 62 court cases to stall the elections and at the same time, by running fake campaigns to create fear among the voters, saying that the election results prove that the people of Andhra Pradesh have not forgotten the destructive rule of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
