State TDP Chief and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivas Rao has called for full cooperation to be provided to the people in the flood-affected areas due to heavy rains, for which TDP leaders and activists should be available to the people at the field level, maintain continuous coordination with the authorities, and actively participate in relief operations..
On this occasion, Srinivas Rao visited the flood-affected areas. He extensively visited many flood-affected and low-lying areas including Pedda Gantiada, Gangavaram, Harijan Jaggayyapalem, Neelapuveedhi, Housing Board colonies, which were submerged due to the effect of low pressure.
As part of this visit, Palla Srinivasa Rao interacted with the residents and enquired about the difficulties they are facing due to the incessant rains. He inspected the flood-affected areas, resolved the problems and directed the officials to take immediate steps to provide relief to the affected residents.
He instructed the GVMC officials to continuously monitor the situation and take relief measures on priority basis to ensure that no untoward incident or loss of life or property occurs.
Palla Srinivasa Rao called upon the TDP leaders and activists to be available to the people at the field level, maintain continuous coordination with the officials and actively participate in the relief measures.
He appealed to the residents of flood-prone areas to remain alert till the rains subsided and everyone took precautions in view of the current weather conditions.
