The state cabinet has approved the establishment of new police commissionerates in Rajahmundry and three other districts in Andhra Pradesh.

AP – The cabinet has approved the establishment of four new police commissionerates in the state.
These will be established as Rajamahendravaram, Guntur, Tirupati and Kurnool centers. The cabinet approved the amount in the state cabinet meeting today.
Rs.1,548 crore for infrastructure works in villages under the capital Amaravati. The cabinet has approved the amendment of the rules to pay minimum annuity to LPS farmers to allocate an additional Rs.644.98 crore for Amaravati infra works and Rs.661 crore for Assembly building spire, roof and lift works.
