Godavari Global University (GGU) (Rajamhandravaram) Founder and Chancellor KVV Satyanarayana Raju (Chaitanya Raju) has made it clear that he will continuously serve the Telugu language in a way that will explain the greatness of the Telugu language and its glory all over the world. The great heritage of Telugu language and literature should continue to flourish for the coming generations, he said.

Today, in honor of the birth anniversary of the famous Telugu poet Gurajada Apparao, He presided over the function  in the National Telugu Centenary Poem Conference and Telugu National Conference held at Godavari Global University

This program was jointly organized by Hyderabad Chaitanya Sarastha Parishad, Telugu Bhasha Chaitanya Samiti, and Kusuma Dharmanna Kalapeetham.

Telugu should be strengthened not just as a subject, but as a medium of knowledge.  Telugu should be given more space in science, technology and administration.”
He urged that Telugu should be used with pride even in the digital world.

He revealed that GGU will work harder for the development of Telugu language and will provide opportunities to the youth through translations, research and literary programs.

He said that the dedicated efforts of writers and poets have played a key role in keeping Telugu language alive and flourishing. As a patron of Telugu literature, he assured that he would make all possible efforts to preserve and promote the glory of Telugu language and literature.

Satyanarayana Raju announced that Telugu degree and PhD courses will be started in our university soon.

Kusuma Dharmanna Kala Peetham founder president and Kusuma Dharmanna descendant Dr. Radha Kusuma said that the service rendered by the great poet Gurajada Apparao to the Telugu language was invaluable. She urged parents to encourage them to develop interest in Telugu in their children.

Telugu Bhasha Chaitanya Samiti State President P. Bade Saheb said,  He pledged to work for the Telugu language and its preservation throughout his life.

Dr. M. Vijaya Gopal, great-grandson of Gurajada Apparao, described Gurajada as a literary man of his time. He said that the five stories written by Gurajada in his mother tongue have remained literary gems even today. Describing Gurajada as a sage-like and intellectually gifted person, he said that his literary works are a testament to his greatness.

On this occasion, Chaitanya Raju, along with distinguished guests, launched a special literary publication titled “Gurajada Sahitya Samalochana” containing research papers and scholarly works submitted by 47 poets and literary scholars.

He presented mementos to more than 100 poets who attended the event from different parts of the two Telugu states. Many literary scholars participated in the event.
