Godavari Global University (GGU) is the main gateway in Andhra Pradesh for students to reach higher heights in the future, and GGU stands at the forefront in providing better job opportunities to students and stands as a guide for other educational institutions in the state, said the university’s Chancellor KVV Satyanarayana Raju (Chaitanya Raju).
Today, an HR conference was organized at the university on Friday on the topic of “Industry-Academic Institutes Connection to Prepare Students for Future Jobs”.
Speaking at the conference, chancellor said that such HR conferences are very useful for the future of students and he suggested that students should take advantage of the suggestions provided by experts.
Also, every student should improve his self-skills and become job-creators, not just job seekers. Along with research (R&D), innovation, and technical skills, they should become socially responsible leaders. Satyanarayana Raju said, that skills should be developed according to the needs of the industries.
Students will increase their knowledge by asking questions and get an opportunity to learn new things. Expressive skills are very important during interviews and they should have a good command of the language, said the university’s Chief Human Resource Officer, Shri S. Keerthivasan.
STIX Chief Operating Officer, Shri Deepak, suggested that students should make it a habit to read English newspapers and use dictionaries to increase their vocabulary.
Students should not only focus on achieving good marks but also focus on developing their skills. Several speakers expressed that there are many job opportunities in various fields at present and it is very important to develop the necessary skills to avail them.
At the conference, prizes were presented to the best questions asked by the students to HR experts. Later, the HR experts were felicitated on behalf of the university.
