All the collectors of the rain-affected districts should be alert until the heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh subside. Precautionary measures should be taken to prevent loss of life anywhere. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu discussed with the respective district collectors in a teleconference that the water coming into the reservoirs and rivers should be estimated and instructions should be issued to the field level from time to time.
With the cyclone crossing the coast tonight, there is a possibility of heavy rains tomorrow. District collectors should be alert on the 24th and 25th.
