Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that the issue of drinking water in cities should not be neglected – skill development training should be mandatory for government employees.

AMARAVATI NOV 30 – Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that skill development training for government employees should be a continuous process.
On Wednesday, the CM reviewed with senior officials the services provided by various departments. Issues like skill training for government employees, canteens, drinking water facilities in urban areas, and facilities in welfare hostels were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Chandrababu said that AP is at the top among the southern states in capacity building and skill training for government employees. Training has been provided in various courses through IGAT Karma Yogi.
He said that employees are being trained to work in real time. He suggested that government employees should improve their skills through various virtual courses.
The Chief Minister clarified that just as IAS officers upgrade their skills by taking orientations from time to time, government employees should have skill development in the same way. He ordered steps to provide training to the employees with IITs and IIMs for the necessary skill training.
The Chief Minister made it clear that no negligence should be allowed in preventing the drinking water problem. The drinking water problem in the cities has reduced to a great extent due to the recent rains.
There is a slight drinking water problem in two municipalities in Rayalaseema.. and steps are being taken to overcome it.

Officials explained that ground water has been recharged in Visakhapatnam city too.. and the drinking water problem is being overcome. The Chief Minister ordered on this occasion that drinking water problems should not arise in the cities or in the villages. . CS Sai Prasad and officials participated in this meeting.
