On the occasion of World Heart Day, TDP State President and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao inaugurated the state-of-the-art command center set up at Apollo Hospitals in Visakhapatnam. today.

Palla Srinivasa Rao appreciated the initiative to set up this center with a technology-based connected-care approach aimed at making expert medical services faster and more accessible to patients.

He said that Visakhapatnam is already one of the fastest growing cities in the state, emerging as a key hub for healthcare, IT, industries and investments. He said that with the availability of world-class medical facilities in the city, Visakhapatnam’s importance as a major healthcare hub will further increase.

Palla said that the coalition government led by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is giving top priority to the development of Visakhapatnam and is promoting modern facilities not only in infrastructure but also in the healthcare sector.

He said that with the integration of services like smart ambulances, tele-ECG and telemedicine, patients will be able to get expert medical care faster in emergencies.

He appreciated the availability of advanced healthcare services in Visakhapatnam itself. He said that this will reduce the need for patients to travel to other cities for specialized medical treatment and further strengthen the city’s position as a healthcare hub.
